Ben Sinclair is a web developer living in Des Moines, Iowa and is currently the lead developer behind bigsight. Ben became interested in technology and computers from a young age, and had worked in a variety of programming languages until 2005, when he launched his first Ruby on Rails application. Since then, he has worked to rapidly increase his RoR skills through a wide portfolio of client work and independent projects. He is well known in the RoR community through his products FutureMail, DiscoverMachine, JobsOnRails, and his blog, BenSinclair.com.

In addition to his development work, Ben is an avid outdoorsman, amateur astronomer, ham radio operator, and student pilot. He made his first solo flight in 2007 and is continuing his training this year.
