She was the recipient of the Pauline Frederick Robbins Journalism Scholarship Award and given the John Merriman Memorial Award by the Writers Guild of America, East. Ms. Davis worked with the NBC News Investigative Unit and Lisa Myers during her graduate studies. Within the unit, she focused on stories related to defense and national security.
