Frances Uku is a recent graduate of the American Repertory Theatre Institute at Harvard, and holds an EECS degree from Berkeley. She has also studied at the Moscow Art Theatre School, HB Studio and The Second City Conservatory.
Film credits include lead roles in two independent shorts, By Poison and No P*ssy for Polluters, both of which recently premiered at festivals. Her sitcom debut was on Girlfriends for CBS Paramount, and she remains the happy host of the daily World Music program on Link TV. On stage, she recently workshopped Twelfth Night with New York’s all-female classical ensemble The Queen’s Company, and completed a sold-out run of Richard II and Macbeth with Los Angeles’ critically-acclaimed Independent Shakespeare Company
