James R. Williams is a second year law student at Stanford University. The Portland, Oregon native attended Princeton University, where he was the chair of the Student Volunteers Council, the institution’s largest student organization. James has been very active politically and won a Harry S Truman fellowship for his commitment to public service. He is also a recipient of the 2007 Soros Fellowship.
