Katie graduated from Harding University with a BA in Public Relations. Beginning her MBA work at Harding in the Fall of 2008, she will also start her second year as editor-in-chief of the Petit Jean yearbook. Being on the yearbook staff has taught her valuable tools in work ethic, including working on a deadline, leading a staff and putting all of her creative and language talents into producing an award winning publication. Currently, Katie is working her corporate PR skills for the engineering consulting firm Point One Design, Ltd., in her hometown of Columbus, Ohio. There Katie is updating the companies existing marketing material, creating new client packages featuring the company’s previous clientele and taking/editing photos for Point One’s website. Katie hopes to be able to use her writing, public relations and business skills to work for herself in the future, but for now is focusing on her schooling, editor duties, her grad assistant position in Harding’s Communications Department and her work with the universities public relations office.
