- Translating Research into Practice in Public Health

I’m particularly interested in the genetic and environmental determinants of common diseases and the translation of research into primary care and public health practice. At Cambridge I am pursuing an MPhil in epidemiology to prepare for a career in genetic epidemiology and public health genetics. I hope to work with the CDC’s Center for Genomics & Disease Prevention or the National Human Genome Research Institute at the NIH to understand and resolve the complex genetic conditions of special populations.
