Nara Nayar is a Research Associate with WestEd’s Science, Math, and Technology division, located in California’s Bay Area, Her previous project, managing the development of California’s Career Technical Standards and Framework ended in 2007, and she continues to work on issues related to successful transitions from school to postsecondary careers and employment. She balances her work life with spending time with her husband and young toddler, as well as an active social life that takes place both online and off. Nara received her BA in English Literature from Reed College in 1996, and her MA in Social Sciences in Education from Stanford in 2004.
